With the official "fall" of the Soviet State, many of the Catacomb Bishops and Parishes who had survived the Soviet Union began to practice a more semi-open existence.
This Russian site is very interesting and contains history of the Seraphimo-Gennadites, who survived in Russia and after a few years, entered into contacts with other True Orthodox. The results were unexpectedly poor, and to this day, this maligned group which had tried to follow the dictates of the Ukaze are insulted and attacked by recent arrivals.
They are worth learning about. (Site in Russian.)
With the union of 2007 between a part of the ROCOR and the Moscow Patriarchate, it appeared ROCOR as a whole had fallen. But the truth is that Bishops of the ROCOR in Russia (the FROC) and Abroad had been fleeing the communion of the ROCOR to protect the faith since 1994.... This is their story.

About this blog
This blog is an attempt by a concerned Orthodox Christian to remind people of the deep struggle many lifelong members of ROCOR waged to protect the Church from the rise of Sergianism. It is to spread history and knowledge of the Church's true teachings, not the politics of the age.
